Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare has launched a new accessible bathlift, which features a removable backrest so clients can get deeper water immersion as well as dual column for extra stability when rising and lowering clients with the bathlift.
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare’s latest bathlift includes all the features from its predecessor, the Bellavita, along with some “exciting new features”.
The Bellavita NOVA features a patented removable backrest, which, when the bathlift is in its lowest position, can be removed by a carer or family member. This enables the user to enjoy the full length of the bath for additional comfort and deeper water immersion.
It also has a new patented dual column to ensure optimum stability when rising and lowering across the full height range, plus providing excellent stability for transfers on and off the bathlift.
In addition, the new bathlift promises “superb comfort” for an enhanced bathing experience. Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare says the assistive bathing solution is easy to install, reliable, and provides a safe and convenient way for clients to continue using their bath.
The backrest reclines to a maximum angle of 50°, it has a low seat height of 6.5cm, a maximum seat height of 48cm, is very lightweight at 9.5kg without the handset, and has a weight capacity of 26.7 stone.
